Stoneskin Rotissum

Stoneskin Rotissum is the first boss players are likely to encounter. Players are instructed to defeat him as part of the "The Town Sewer Secret" quest. He has 3 health bars above his head and can be a real challenge for players. He hits quite hard but most of his attacks are well telegraphed, making them easy to dodge or parry.
Attack Patterns[edit | edit source]
Stage 1[edit | edit source]
Green Projectile[edit | edit source]
He shoots a green projectile that does damage to the player on contact. It can be dodged but not parried. They are also stopped by the pillars in the room. This attack can be rather frustrating to deal with while attempting to use a healing potion.
Overhead Hammer Attack[edit | edit source]
This attack is well telegraphed and easily parried.Despite looking more intimidating, it deals the same amount of damage as the green projectile.
Slap[edit | edit source]
This attack can be parried but it more easily dodged. Parrying can be a bit tricky since the attack has a smaller parry window than it seems, but it is no problem for an experienced player.
Stomp[edit | edit source]
This attack deals a lot of damage and creates a cloud of mist around the boss. It can be difficult to parry since it has a similar window to the slap.
Hammer Thrust[edit | edit source]
Stoneskin Rotissum thrusts his hammer at the player in a large, well telegraphed attack. it is easy to parry.
Stage 2[edit | edit source]
After Stoneskin Rotissum reaches half health he will enrage and his skin will darken. He will use the same attacks but they become much faster and deal more damage.

Recommended Strategy[edit | edit source]
Before you attempt this fight, stock up on healing items and armor. Medium or Greater health potions are recommended along with gold+ armor. A good approach to defeat him is parrying his hammer attacks while dodging his slap and stomp attacks. While it is possible to parry all of his attacks, this can be quite risky for inexperienced players. After each parry, use the riposte attack and swing and additional 1-3 times depending on your weapon's attack speed. If you become low on health or stamina, attempt to put a pillar between you and Stoneskin Rotissum since they can block his projectiles. The boss room has connecting tunnel with Mutated Sewer Rats close enough to run into the boss room upon spotting a player. It is very important to avoid the area around this tunnel since they can cancel your attacks and absorb your parries, costing you the fight.
