Millis

Millis is a quest NPC that can be found in the town of Aresis. He gives the player the quest, "The Town Sewer Secret." Canonically he is a researcher studying the plants and animals around the city, but he currently has a small vendetta against the townsfolk for trying to get in the way of his research.

"Oh hello there do you have an inquiry or what is your business with me?
I'd like to know a bit more about the history of the town[edit | edit source]
"Well that depends on what part you are interested in, the town is of newer origin as you may know since it was built for adventurers as a frontier to take back these lands from the evil beings that lay claim to them. This town has more to it than what meets the eye.. but it'd be best to keep that secret."
Oh interesting but what is that secret you are talking about?[edit | edit source]
"Shh.. don't speak too loudly of this secret.. well I kind of have a vendetta against the towns people since they have tried to pause my studies. Hmm, since you seem like a kindhearted brave adventurer i will key you in on this. There is a rumor among the towns folk of a gold eating monstrous rat-like being exists under the town."
"You: Tell me more I might be able to take care of this."
"The rumor says that the Mayor's pet rat mutated into a monstrous being after being fed gold coins, he grew so large and out of control that the mayor threw him into the sewer to die but the rat thrived and could only contained by being fed gold coins which has mutated the rats living in the sewer. The rumor goes that some of the tax increases was actually being used to fee the monstrous rat being.

"Quest: Help defeat the monstrous rat-like being living deep in the sewers. You can find the sewer entrance located just outside the towns walls in the Southwest at the end of the creek"
